Fu et al. (2008)

Nitrogen fixing unicellular cyanobacteria cultures were incubated in triplicate 1L polycarbonate bottles containing seawater from the Sargasso Sea under iron-limited (10 nmol L-1) conditions. Enriched CO2 was obtained by bubbling a commercially prepared air/CO2 mixture. Control temperature = 28°C and control CO2 = 380 ppm. Maximum cell-specific carbon fixation rate was measured.

Fu et al. (2008)

Nitrogen fixing unicellular cyanobacteria cultures were incubated in triplicate 1L polycarbonate bottles containing seawater from the Sargasso Sea under iron-replete (450 nmol L-1) conditions. Enriched CO2 was obtained by bubbling a commercially prepared air/CO2 mixture. Control temperature = 28°C and control CO2 = 380 ppm. Maximum cell-specific carbon fixation rate was measured.
